Ops, a weekend-long milsim fest
3 days, 2 nights, 5 games.
The first weekend of July is Ops at HRTA in north county Dublin. A collection of themed airsoft games using milsim rules, you'll need to watch your back, trust your fire-team, obey your commander, and count your shots. Whether you're infiltrating a hostile Caucasian village, scrounging for survival in the post-apocalypse, or simply alone in the dark not knowing who to trust we aim to make this the most fun weekend in Irish airsoft.
Ops will run from Friday evening the 2nd of July to Sunday evening the 4th of July. There'll be a game on Friday evening, a night game on Friday night, an all-day game on Saturday, a night game on Saturday night, and a competitive all-day game on Sunday. Apart from all that, there'll be:
[*] Camping [*] Bonfires [*] Barbecueing [*] An airsoft shop [*] A table quiz (tables not guaranteed) [*] Movie screenings [*] Pick-up airsoft games [*] Sideshow airsoft skill games [*] The opportunity for a few beers as appropriate
Games are individual stand-alone scenarios, not linked, so people can come and go over the weekend as suits them. One game, a day, or the works, it's your choice.
